Devotion

I used to feel shy about how much I love the Divine, how much I cherish the gift of life, how much I marvel at the miracles happening throughout my day.

But these days I feel so happy and grateful. Joy about simply being alive runs through me like an electrical current. This joy expands when I listen to devotional music of all kinds. My heart lifts when I listen to songs that praise the gift of life and the giver of life.

This room is particularly sweet for me because my mom and I share this experience of devotion, especially the devotion from the Christian tradition. So this room is for you, mom. I am grateful we have found something so special to share in life.
